Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2009 是山崎蒸餾所推出的一款雪莉桶威士忌，展現了品牌對雪莉桶熟成工藝的重視。山崎蒸餾所成立於 1923 年，是日本第一家麥芽威士忌蒸餾所，自創立以來便開始使用來自西班牙的 Oloroso 雪莉桶進行熟成。
2009 年推出的 Yamazaki Sherry Cask，完全在 Oloroso 雪莉桶中熟成，強調果乾、黑巧克力、堅果與辛香料的風味，成為山崎雪莉桶系列的一部分，也讓日本威士忌在國際市場獲得更多關注。
Elegance in Complexity
Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2009 採用 西班牙 Oloroso 雪莉桶 熟成，這些桶材經過長時間養成，使威士忌呈現深色酒液與濃郁風味。山崎選用的雪莉桶為 首次填充（First Fill），提供更明顯的雪莉酒風味，帶來果乾、太妃糖、可可與辛香料的層次。由於 Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2009 未經冷凝過濾（Non-Chill Filtered），因此保留了更多酒體的油脂與風味，使口感更為濃郁。
Celebrate the Artistry
Yamazaki Sherry Cask 系列真正受到關注，是因為 2014 年 Jim Murray 在《Whisky Bible 2015》中將 Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2013 評選為年度最佳威士忌（World Whisky of the Year）。這讓該系列在全球市場聲名大噪，也推高了 2009 年版本的價值。這是一款見證日本威士忌發展的作品。
